2020 Rosé of Pinot Noir

2020 Rosé of Pinot Noir
Burning Creek Ranch

Sustainability in Practice Certified Wine (SIP Certified)

The 2020 Rose' is a blend of Pinot Noir clones from our neighbor in Sta. Rita Hills, Burning Creek Ranch. The diverse soils of Burning Creek Ranch enabled Winemaker Bruce McGuire to choose from both light and dark expressions of the grape, yielding aromas of watermelon, strawberry and lemon zest in the glass. Across the palate you'll enjoy stone fruit with citrus undertones, leading to a smooth, dry finish. Not to be left unmentioned is the color: bright vermillion!

Burning Creek Ranch has proved to be an ideal source for developing mature fruit in Sta. Rita Hills, and our 2020 Rose' is a wonderful expression of that.

WOW, just WOW,,, I just returned from my 1st, ever visit to Santa Barbara. I wanted to try some local wines, and especially some Rose's since I really like a nice French or Italian Rose in the hot weather. I knew that Cali had to be making some in this style. My pick was the 2020 Rose of Pinot Noir. On my first sip, I knew it was what I was looking for. Crisp, fruity but not "sweet", a bit of fizz on the tongue, PERFECT. I am sure I will be ordering a lot of it here.
