Lafond Winery/Santa Barbara Winery is committed to the privacy rights of our customers and wine club members while visiting our locations and using our website.
Personal Information
Registration is required to use certain features of our site. We collect general contact information, i.e. name, e-mail address, and mailing address. Data collected from online user-completed forms is stored in secure server locations.
On occasion, Lafond Winery/Santa Barbara Winery will contact our registered members or visitors who have opted in to be e-mailed with promotional information that we feel would be applicable to, and desired by that user. At any time a user wishes to opt-out of these e-mails, they may do so. However, many of our emails are designed to inform wine club members of upcoming wine shipments and vital information related to their purchase. If a user opts-out, the user will not receive any further communication from Lafond Winery/Santa Barbara Winery.
Financial information will never be shared with any organization other than those necessary for completing the financial transaction required. Information and data gathered solely by Lafond Winery/Santa Barbara Winery will never be sold, traded or shared with additional third-parties for any reason.

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All membership information is stored securely on our private protected server.
Online Store Policies
Shipping Policy
Shipping Fee: $18.00 Flat Rate - Shipped Fed Ex Ground
All wine orders are shipped via Fed Ex or UPS couriers. All wine ships for a flat rate of $18.00, ground delivery timing around 3 to 7 days. Wine shipments must be signed by someone 21 years or older. We recommend using a workplace address to ensure timely delivery. *Typically, 3 attempts will be made to deliver your package before it is returned to the winery, but timing is subject to location and courier. Please include any special shipping requests or instructions with your order.
Please note: during warm weather months, we monitor the temperatures in your area to ensure that the wine is not subject to high temperatures during transit that may damage the wine. If temperatures rise beyond a set threshold, we will NOT be able to ship until the weather cools down. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding your order.
Expedited shipping is available on request within reason. Please call the winery for all special requests regarding shipping. While we certainly strive to meet the needs of our valued customers, we may not be able to accommodate all special requests.
Extended Shipping Policy
Due to legal restrictions on shipments of wine and other alcoholic beverages, we are only permitted to ship wine within the United States. Additionally, we cannot ship to the following states: AL | AK | HI | KY | MS | ND | SD | UT. The tax or use tax may be charged in each applicable state, as determined by state and local laws of the customer and Lafond Winery/Santa Barbara Winery.
All wine orders must be placed by a person 21 years of age or older. Verification of age is required upon delivery. We recommend using a business or workplace address to facilitate delivery of your purchase to ensure that your shipment is not returned. Wine will not be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person. Failure to produce age verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. All associated costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
After unsuccessful attempts to deliver your wine, and the wine is returned to the winery, your account will be charged all return and reshipping fees. We make every effort to communicate our shipping dates in advance to our valued customers to ensure successful delivery.
Pick Up Policy
Online orders can be made available for pickup at the designated tasting room location of your choice with no added fees. Pick-up orders are ready for pick up 24-hours from the time of order. Orders will only be available to pick up at your designated pick up location and are not transferrable. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your pick-up order.
Return Policy
Lafond Winery/Santa Barbara Winery stands behind our products and takes pride in exceeding the expectations of our customers. Due to the nature of consumable products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for online or tasting room wine/food purchases. Tasting Room gifts/non-consumable merchandise are returnable in original condition within 7 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for all eligible returns/exchanges. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact the winery as soon as possible either by phone or email and we will do our best to accommodate. Shipping costs cannot be refunded.
Wine Club Policies
Members must be 21 years or older.
No fee to join the membership.
Wine Club Membership is non-binding and can be cancelled at any time. We kindly request that you request cancellation 14-days before upcoming wine club shipments.
Wine Club Shipments are non-returnable once they have left the warehouse.
Wine Shipments are automatically charged at the time of shipment using member payment information stored in our secure server. If you need to update your personal information (i.e. new credit card or shipping address) please contact us to do so.
