2020 Pinot Noir SBC

2020 Pinot Noir SBC
Santa Barbara County

89 points - Wine Enthusiast

Santa Barbara County has achieved national acclaim for the region's Pinot Noir. It's a finicky grape. In the Sta. Rita Hills, where warm days and cool nights are essential for Pinot's development, the grape's delicacy is maintained by a daily layer of maritime fog which stretches over the Valley, protecting it from frost or penetrating sunlight.

Pinot Noir is very important to Santa Barbara Winery. We have many blocks on varied soils planted at our Lafond Vineyard. Santa Barbara Winery bottles three different Pinot Noirs.
