The Sta. Rita Hills AVA has achieved much acclaim for its Chardonnays, and this classic lives up to its Reserve title. The grapes came from Lafond Vineyard and Hilltop Ranch, one of the oldest vineyards in the area. 100% barrel fermentation and aging, with additional malolactic fermentation, has resulted in a beautifully creamy, complex wine.

Tasting Notes
The 2019 Reserve Chardonnay is rich but well-balanced resulting from the region’s warm, sunny days and cool nights influenced by its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. The nose of this wine showcases bright citrus, lemon, and peach. On the palate, flavors of lemon zest, peach, and vanilla with a lingering, pleasant finish.
