2019 Grenache
Lafond Vineyard
Lafond Vineyard dedicates most of its space to Pinot Noir, but keeps room for Grenache in a section just north of the Santa Ynez River. Winemaker Bruce McGuire fostered the idea of growing a cool-climate Grenache on the property, and the results have been rewarding. Grenache grown in cooler climates tends to develop spicier components than in warmer climes, and our 2019 Grenache is a wonderful example of that.
