2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
Happy Canyon
90 points - Wine Enthusiast
Winemaker Bruce McGuire sourced grapes from Happy Canyon for our 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. Happy Canyon is the warmest AVA in Santa Barbara County, and is known for producing quality reds. The magnesium-rich soil works well with Bordeaux varietals, and our 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect example. Full-bodied and well-balanced, this wine is a good candidate for aging.

Winemaker Notes
Happy Canyon is the warmest appellation in Santa Barbara County and very well-suited for Bordeaux varieties. Dierberg Vineyard grapes have more structure and density while McGinley Vineyard grapes are more fragrant and supple - resulting in a complete version of Happy Canyon Cabernet Sauvignon.
